COPE (Certificate of Personal Effectiveness).
This course helps you develop and demonstrate a range of skills that will assist you in a wide variety of activities you are undertaking both inside and outside formal education. Once completed, this course is the eqivalent of Asdan's Silver and Gold awards. Which is the equivalent of a GCSE.
There are 8 different types of mind maps which allow you to formulate your ideas in different ways. We list eight different maps which could assist you in coursework.
An example sheet is listed for each map to remind you how to use them.
Asdan is a course offered to students which allows them to gather information/experience on basic life skills, while also improving their numeracy and literacy.
There are three levels on this course Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
It will also be possible to be entered for a Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (COPE) award which is the equivalent to a GCSE at the Silver and Gold levels.
